We all know how annoying the mobile phone can be in places where peace and quiet are more important than checking your latest Facebook messages. Upon entering the church of the abbey in Vallombrosa I saw the following notice:

Although God can communicate with you in various ways … it is certain that He will not call you on your mobile!
So … turn it off! Thanks!
