The Fiera del Cioccolato Artigianale is held for the tenth time this week on Piazza Santa Maria Novella, in the heart of Florence. Forty booths exhibit the finest chocolate from Italy and abroad, and there is special attention for the Tuscan products of course. Chocolate truffles, chocolate-dipped fruit, chocolate “salami”, Sicilian cannoli, macaroons from Paris, chocolate drinks, white, milk, dark, with nuts and much, much more. At each booth we were offered tastings of chocolate, with the result that once we had reached the last booth we had eaten enough and left without buying any chocolate.
