First floor Mercato Centrale reopened

Florence has gained a new culinary paradise with the reopening of the first floor of the legendary Mercato Centrale. The 3000 m2 previously occupied by market stalls now accommodate 12 shops and 500 seats. You will be able to find just about anything: fresh pasta, breads and cakes, chocolate, ice cream, cheese, meats, fruits and vegetables, fish, lampredotto, sandwiches, pizza and a restaurant alla carte. For those who prefer home cooking, there are cookbooks available and soon the culinary school of Lorenzo de ‘Medici will open its doors.

The first floor is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 10:00am to midnight.
