Florentine artisans open their studios for a weekend

Various artisan design studios opened their doors this weekend to offer visitors a peek behind the scenes. Twelve studios participated in this initiative by Lost in Florence; from fashion, jewellery, accessories, ceramics, sculpture and perfume, to bookbinding and paper. Unfortunately I was unable to visit all workshops, but the four places I did visit were an interesting mix and I enjoyed meeting the designers and learn more about their work.

The studios are open today Sunday October 19th from 12pm – 6pm. You’ll find the complete list of participants on the Lost in Florence website.

The studios I visited are:

La Serra Mk Textile Atelier of Margherita Pandolfini and Karl Jorns
